Burn Baby Burn!

I haven't been blogging much so far this year as I'm working on organizing my life a bit more than I did in 2009. One of the tools I am using to "organize" my diet is DailyBurn.com. It really is a great tool that logs your nutrition, weight, and workout plans. The basic version is free and of course if you pay, you get more options. They even offer two iPhone apps, one called FoodScanner actually reads bar codes from food wrappers by using the built in camera and automatically finds the nutrition info and logs it into your account. How could you NOT love that? I a big fan of Daily Burn as it is easy to use and has a community for motivation. It is proven that it you keep a journal of what you eat that the percentage of success in losing weight, increases. It's worked for me in the past and I know it will work again.

interesting. just makes me think about blogging and how unhealthy it makes you that you need to use a computer to lose weight. good luck. Get a buddy! That is what works more than a computer program, Informed Fire. You should keep us informed of your progress. Go girl!

David, I definitely don't need a computer to help me lose weight. I usually keep a written food journal but using dailyburn is a tad easier as I am on my computer a lot during the work day. My iPhone is easier to carry around than my journal. Hey... 7lbs shed so far! Woo hoo! I praise my discipline... not the tool. :)
